Since the word "again" was used, I can't even try to think that you didn't the right thing.
You are a smart girl, since you´re writing here, seaching for different points of view.
You are in a "turning point" in your life, sometimes it's a scary situation, but it's time to changes. Move on!

Catch 22.
Ask him, and if your wrong then he says you dont trust him.
Leave it and if he is then he's getting away with it.

Don't ask him direct, say " Whats wrong, are you stressed at work?"

"Do you feel alright, as you seem distant"

etc... etc...

This gets the ball rolling and you can then ask more questions on-top and hopefully get some clues as to why he is being that way.

Hi!
My little girl is 3 year old now. How old is Mia?
Writing is really good to put mind in order.
When I was pregnant (yes, I was pregnant too, with my wife, I just didn't feel the pain of labor) talking to friends was really good.
I will try to read and respond.
